Michael Tees, BA, MBA
Michael is the founder and Managing Director of Due Diligence Financial Research. He has over 25 years of corporate finance experience having worked at Canadian and international commercial banks in Toronto and Vancouver. Financing transactions completed across Canada and the U.S. in a wide range of industries including real estate, project finance, renewable and non renewable energy, agriculture, aviation, gaming, primary and value added agriculture, financial institutions, manufacturing, hi-tech and First Nations projects. Michael also sits on the Board of Directors of Farm Credit Canada, a federal Crown Corporation.
Education
Michael holds a Bachelors Degree from the University of Toronto and and MBA from the University of Washington in Seattle. In addition Michael has specialized finance training in enterprise risk management, international trade finance, JV management and derivatives for financial risk management.
Harp Atwal, B.Comm
Harp Atwal is Vice President at Due Diligence Financial Research and has over 30 years experience in residential and commercial lending. He has worked for a number of chartered Canadian Banks and has built up an impressive network of lenders and clients.
Education
Harp is a licensed Mortgage Broker and possesses Real Estate Trading Services Designation in real estate. He possesses a B.Comm with a specialization in Accounting from University of BC.
